Rubén Albés: “We played a very poor game”

C.D. Leganés coach Rubén Albés held a press conference following the match the Pepineros played this Saturday in Cádiz—part of Matchday 8 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION 2026/27—which ended in a 4-0 loss.

The Blue-and-White coach assessed the action on the field as follows:

Match Summary: “Cádiz played a good game, and we were really bad. We weren’t able to match their intensity or win one-on-one battles. We were lackluster and played a very poor game. We’re all upset, and that’s normal.”

Cádiz: “The match didn’t go according to our game plan. We weren’t up to the task.”
