A trip to Almería to get back on track

C.D. Leganés visits U.D. Almería this Sunday (4:15 p.m.) at the UD Almería Stadium for a match on Matchday 9 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION 2026/27. The Pepineros head into this away game looking to get back on the winning track after failing to do so last week.

Lega heads into the match against Almería eager to put last week’s loss in Cádiz behind them. To that end, “Pepineros” head coach Rubén Albés will have nearly his entire squad available, as Diawara could return after recovering from his injury; only Rubén Peña, who is dealing with some discomfort, might be left off the roster.

For its part, Almería enters the match on the heels of five consecutive victories that have propelled it to the top of the standings. With four wins in four home games, García Pimienta welcomes back Dzodic following the international break, though he may be without Sola, Ely, and Gui Guedes.
