C.D. Leganés has incorporated Abraham García Aliaga as the new head coach of Leganés 'B' for the 2026/27 season.
Born in Madrid on January 11, 1974, Abraham García is a coach with an extensive and proven track record in both national and international football, especially recognized for his work in the development of young footballers and the management of teams in academy categories.
His coaching career began at a very early age and took a significant step forward after joining the youth academy of Atlético de Madrid, where he managed different teams in the lower categories, eventually becoming the coach of the Juvenil A and Atlético de Madrid C. Subsequently, he moved to the academy of Real Madrid, where he was in charge of Real Madrid C for three seasons before returning to Atlético to manage the red-and-white reserve team. During his time in the academy systems of both clubs, he participated in the growth of numerous footballers who later reached the elite of Spanish football.
In addition, Abraham García has developed an extensive coaching career at teams such as C.D. Toledo, Gimnástica Segoviana, and Marbella F.C., as well as experiencing international ventures in China.
Abraham García will be accompanied by Santiago Cortés Luna as assistant coach; Francisco Leán Bachiller and Diego Refoyo Rodríguez as assistant coaches and analysts; Jaime Rebollo and Rubén Alonso as fitness coaches; Diego Pérez Uceda as goalkeeper coach; Héctor Fajardo as team delegate; and Fabio Peralta as pitch delegate.
The blue-and-white reserve team will begin its pre-season next Tuesday, July 28.
