C.D. Leganés presents its new home kit for the 2026/27 season, the first designed by its new official technical sponsor, PUMA. A very special jersey that pays homage to one of the most important moments in the recent history of the club: the promotion to Primera División achieved on June 4, 2016.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of that unforgettable feat, the club and PUMA wanted to recover the essence of the jersey that accompanied the pepineros in that historic achievement in Anduva. The result is a kit that connects past and present, reinforcing the identity and feeling of belonging of the blue-and-white family.
The new jersey largely respects the original design of that season, highlighting a more prominent central blue stripe that becomes the main element of the garment. In addition, it incorporates elegant gold details both on the PUMA logo on the sleeves and on the collar, providing a commemorative and distinctive touch.
Tradition and modernity with Martín Mantovani as their symbol
As a novelty, the jersey features a round neck closed with a button in gold tones, a detail that combines tradition and modernity and reinforces the exclusive character of this special edition.
For the presentation of the kit, the club has counted on an exceptional protagonist: Martín Mantovani, current head of institutional relations of C.D. Leganés and one of the great heroes of that 2016 promotion. The former pepinero captain has been the person in charge of wearing a shirt that symbolizes a decade of pride, effort, and growth.
Technology and Sustainable Innovation with Highly Functional Materials
As part of PUMA's commitment to sustainable innovation, RE:FIBRE technology has been used in the jersey, which allows garments to be manufactured with 95% recycled polyester coming from textile waste and other polyester waste materials. This process facilitates the repeated recycling of materials without compromising their quality, contributing to reducing dependence on virgin resources and moving towards a more circular model within the textile industry.
The jersey also features PUMA's exclusive dryCELL technology which, thanks to highly functional materials, allows sweat to be drawn away from the skin and keeps the footballer dry and comfortable during sports practice.
Jersey now available in-store and online
The new home kit of C.D. Leganés is already available for purchase starting this Wednesday, July 1, both in the club's official physical stores and in its online store.
A jersey that will not only dress the team in the 2026/27 season, but will also allow the fanbase to relive one of the most exciting chapters in pepinera history.
