Rubén Albés: “We showed emotional fragility that caused us to fall apart in the second half”

Play

C.D. Leganés head coach Rubén Albés spoke this Sunday following the match between the Pepineros and U.D. Almería, part of Matchday 9 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION 2026/27, which ended in a 3-0 loss.

The Blue-and-White coach assessed the 90 minutes as follows:

A tough loss: “I think we played an even first half. We conceded a goal, and given our emotional fragility, we fell apart in the second half.”

Three goals conceded in eight minutes: “Emotional fragility—there’s a lot of baggage from the past that we need to shake off.”

What’s wrong with the team: “A lot of things, but I’m not going to go into them here. The summary is in the two previous questions.”
